Sunday 星期日
Sunday在共英文中的意思是sun's day（屬于太陽的日子）。
對基督教而言，星期日是[安息日]，因?yàn)橐d復(fù)活的日子是在星期日。
Monday 星期一
根據(jù)西方傳說，Monday的意思是moon day（屬于月亮的日子），因?yàn)槲鞣饺税堰@一天獻(xiàn)給月之女神。
Tuesday 星期二
Tuesday是由古英文字演變來的。
Tiw是北歐神話里的戰(zhàn)神。
Wednesday 星期三
Wednesday在古英文中的意思是Wonden's day。
Woden是北歐諸神之父。
Thursday 星期四
Thursday在古英文中意思Thou's day
Thou是北歐神話的雷神，經(jīng)常帶著一把大鐵錘。
Friday 星期五
Friday在古英文中意思是Frigg's day。對于北歐人而言，星期五是幸運(yùn)的日子。然而對基督教來說卻是相反的，因?yàn)橐d受難日賬號是星期五。
Saturday 星期六
Saturday在古英文中的意思是Saturn's day。Saturn是羅馬神話中的農(nóng)神，掌管五谷。

The days of the week are having a party.
一周的七天正在搞聚會。
Mr Sunday has a black coat and hat.
星期天先生穿著一件黑色大衣，戴著一頂黑帽子。
“How do you do?”he says,and bows.
"你們好"。他說，并鞠了一躬。
Mr Monday is a happy young man.
星期一先生是個(gè)快樂的年輕人。
'I like singsing.I love music!'
我愛唱歌，我愛音樂！
Mr Tuesday is tall and strong.
星期二先生高大又強(qiáng)壯。
'I love playing sports.'
