“網(wǎng)絡(luò)旅游”是興起于20世紀(jì)末，時(shí)髦于21世紀(jì)的一個(gè)旅游新概念。目前國(guó)內(nèi)所謂的網(wǎng)絡(luò)旅游，是指網(wǎng)絡(luò)公司在投資商的支持下，在互聯(lián)網(wǎng)上建立的一系列專門服務(wù)于旅游者的綜合網(wǎng)站，當(dāng)旅游者通過訪問這些旅游網(wǎng)站，收集全國(guó)各地的旅游信息，制訂自己出游的旅游線路，預(yù)訂各種交通票證、住宿房位、娛樂項(xiàng)目，并在網(wǎng)站的幫助下完成“吃、住、行、游、購(gòu)、娛”的旅游活動(dòng)時(shí)，一次真正意義上的“網(wǎng)絡(luò)旅游”便告誕生了?！熬W(wǎng)絡(luò)旅游”簡(jiǎn)言之是一種憑借互聯(lián)網(wǎng)技術(shù)為核心的電子商務(wù)網(wǎng)，該網(wǎng)是旅游服務(wù)商與旅游消費(fèi)者之間交流溝通的渠道和中介。目前在中國(guó)有“攜程旅行網(wǎng)站”、“華夏旅游網(wǎng)”、“游皮網(wǎng)”等。
然而這并不能稱為真正意思上的網(wǎng)絡(luò)旅游，只是為游客提供“機(jī)票+酒店”的預(yù)訂服務(wù)，而這種網(wǎng)絡(luò)旅游服務(wù)僅僅是旅游網(wǎng)站資訊服務(wù)的升級(jí)。

Background information

Wall Street

Times Square

Wall Street, the world-famous trade centre, is here at the southern end of Manhattan Island. There are many big companies and international banks here.
Further on is Times Square. Every year, thousands of people gather here on New Year's Eve. It's exciting to see the huge glass ball falling through the darkness!
In the centre of the island is Centre Park. With several lakes, hill and a large green lawn, it's a good place to relax after a hard day's work.
When you visit New York, don't miss Broadway. It has been famous for its theatres since the early twentieth century. Have you ever heard of the song "Memory"? It comes from the famous Broadway musical Cats.
