When do we use these sentences?
We use these sentences to give orders or advice.
Know about the imperatives
We use imperatives to give orders or advice.There are positive and nnegative imperatives.
Open the door,Daisy.
Don't opem the door,Daisy.

We can use please in imperatives.
It is more polite.
Please turn off your phone.
Turn off phone please.
We need to add be before adjectives whn use them as imperatives.
Be quiet,girl.
Don't be late again.
Work out the rule
We use the base form of a verb in a (positive/negative) imperative.
In a (positive/negative) imperative,we use don't before the base form of the verb.
Imperatives
I.定義:表示請求、命令、警告、建議等的句子。在祈使句中,一般以動詞原形開頭,通常省略主語you,句末可以用感嘆號或句號。

Use exclamations to show strong feelings or for emphasis!
Read and think
Here are a few sentences to show the feelings.
The flowers are so beautiful.
The weather is bad.
We are lucky.
Time passes quickly.
The stars are beautiful.
Learn to use exclamations
Sometimes we say sentences with emphasis and strong feelings.These sentences are called exclamations.
What+(a/an)+adjective+noun+subject_verb+!
How+adjective/adverb+subject+verb+!
Exclamations
This is how we make an exclamation:
It is beautiful flower.
They are beautiful flowers.
1.What+(a/an)+adjective+noun+subject_verb+!
What a eautiful flower it is!
beautiful flowers they are!
The flowers is beautful.
The flowers are beautiful.
2.How+adjective/adverb+subject+verb+!
How beautiful the flower is!

Here are a few more examples of exclamations.They can enhence the feelings of the original sentences.
What an interesting poem it is!
What beautiful flowers they are!
What bad weather it is!
How lucky we are!
How quickly the time passed!
How bright the stars are!
More about exclamations
We can use a word or phrase as an exclamation,such as Oh no!or Lovely!We can also a word or phrase with what or how to show strong feelings.
They are the shortened forms of exclamations.
What an interesting poem! How lucky!
What beautiful flowers! How fast!
What bad weather! How bright!
三 What、How的判斷方法
What修飾名詞,how修飾形容詞,但當名詞前還有形容詞時就容易判斷錯。
如( )beautiful flowers!
我們知道,感嘆句也是句子,只不過把強調部分放在句首。因此它也應該有主語和位于,有時候主語和謂語被省略了,我們可以把主語和謂語補上。
What a lovely day!
What a lovely day it is!
What beautiful flowers!
What beautiful flowers they are!
What important news it is!
How fast!
How fast it goes!
How beautiful the flowers are!
How fast the boat is!
仔細觀察后你就會發(fā)現(xiàn),在感嘆句的主語錢若還有名詞存在時,用what來引導;
在感嘆句的主語前若無名詞時,則用How來引導。
但在“How+形容詞+a/an+名詞單數(shù)+主謂!”中不可用what,因為此句中強調了形容詞。

陳述句變?yōu)楦袊@句的方法
把一個陳述句變?yōu)楦袊@句時,常使用“一分二加三換位四去掉”的方法。
第一步:“一分”,即在謂語動詞后面畫一雙豎線,使句子分為兩部分。如:
He is a very honest boy.他是一個誠實的孩子。
Li Lei works very hard.李雷學習很刻苦。
第二步:“二加”,即如果第二部分的中心詞是名詞,就加上what;
如果是形容詞或副詞,就加上how。
如:He is (what) a very honest boy.
Li Lei works (how) very hard.
第三步:“三換位”,即把第一部分與第二部分互換位置,句號換位感嘆號
如:
What a very honest boy he is!
How very hard Li Lei works!
第四步:“四去掉”即原陳述句含有very,too等程度副詞時,在變成感嘆句時要去掉。
以上兩個句子就應該變?yōu)橐韵滦问剑?br>

將下列句子改為感嘆句,注意what,how的使用及詞序:
