Language points
used to do sth. 過(guò)去常常做某事，其疑問(wèn)句和否定形式可用used/used not或did/didn't構(gòu)成。
1. He used to stay up late at night.
Now, he doesn't stay up late any more.
疑問(wèn)句 Used he to stay up late at night?
=Did he use to stay up late at night?
否定句 He used not to stay up late at night.
=He didn't use to stay up late at night.
be used to doing sth. 習(xí)慣做某事
E.g.
我習(xí)慣于早上六點(diǎn)起床。
I am used to getting up at six in the morning.
他習(xí)慣照顧自己。
He is used to looking after himself.
be used to do sth（use的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)）被用來(lái)做某事
刀子是用來(lái)切東西的。
A knife is used to cut things.
Beijing has changed a lot. Everything has changed now. What about Hobo and Eddie? Have they changed too? Ok, let's listen and see, try to answer the following questions.
對(duì)話(huà)：
Hobo: Oh, where's my food? It was in the bowl an hour ago.
Hobo: Eddie, have you seen my food?
Eddie: Yes. I've just eaten it.

marry的用法小結(jié)
娶；嫁；結(jié)婚；和…結(jié)婚
常見(jiàn)用法如下：
一、marry sb. / get married 表示動(dòng)作
1. He married a pretty girl. 他娶了個(gè)漂亮的姑娘。
2. She married a soldier.
Or She got married to a soldier.
她嫁給了一位士兵。
3. They got married last year. 他們?nèi)ツ杲Y(jié)的婚。
4. She got married in 1993. 她1993年結(jié)的婚。
注：They married last year. 也正確。
但現(xiàn)在人們更傾向于用get married來(lái)表示‘結(jié)婚’這一行為。
feel a bit lonely 感到有點(diǎn)兒寂寞
alone adv. 單獨(dú)，一個(gè)人（用作狀語(yǔ)）
lonely adj. 孤獨(dú)地，寂寞地（作表語(yǔ)或定語(yǔ)）
e.g. 1. 他一個(gè)人單獨(dú)居住，但從不感到寂寞。
He lives alone, but he never feels lonely.

turn(change)...into... 把…變成…
